💼 The Role

I’m looking for a passionate and versatile individual to join Better Creating as a Junior Chief of Staff. This isn’t an Executive Assistant role – it's a unique opportunity to help take Better Creating to the next level by owning everything outside of the content creation.

Initially, you'll manage our YouTube channel, support in managing our Notion-based business initiatives, and foster a vibrant community on Discord. You'll drive growth through strategic planning, operational support, and community engagement.

Eventually, you'll take on more responsibility, developing strategies for long-term growth, leading key projects, and helping steer Better Creating toward new, bigger opportunities.

💻 What you’ll be doing and how the role will evolve

Initial Phase

Administrative and Operational Support:
  • Email and Calendar Management: Handle email correspondence and manage the calendar, scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Partnership Coordination: Manage partnership offers and maintain partnership communications.
  • Basic Content Management: Repurpose existing content across various platforms, schedule and post content as per the content calendar.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with the community, respond to inquiries, and oversee basic community interactions.
  • General Administrative Tasks: Assist with day-to-day administrative duties to ensure smooth operations.
  • Operational Support: Manage administrative tasks and coordinate with contractors for content production.
Learning and Development:
  • Familiarization with Business Operations: Gain a thorough understanding of the business operations, workflows, and systems.

Your Evolving Role

YouTube Channel Management:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement content strategies that align with industry trends and partnerships.
  • Content Implementation: Oversee the creation and publishing of content to engage and grow our audience, and manage other editors and contractors
Advanced Operational Management:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for content and product development, and help to develop new content & product ideas.
Community and Content Management:
  • Community Growth Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to grow and engage the community.
Commercial and Business Development (Notion):
  • Digital Product Management: Drive the growth and development of our Notion-based business, ensuring it meets customer needs and market demands.
  • Commercial Strategy: Develop commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to enhance business growth

  • You have 1+ years operational experience, managing projects and executing on tasks.

🚀 Even better if you have

  • 1+ years of experience in the content space and community engagement.
  • A background in digital marketing or community growth.
  • Experience with YouTube channel management.
  • Skills in strategic planning and project management.
  • Experience in e-commerce and digital products
  • Familiarity with my templates & content
  • Good awareness of developments in consumer technology and/or productivity software

⏰ Working Hours, Pay & Location

  • Pay & Hours: Competitive pay based on experience for approximately 20 hours a week (flexible)
  • Location: Hybrid (working 1 day in South London per week, but this is flexible depending on your profile.
